Adele’s final 2023 concert look: see details

Adele just finished her Las Vegas residency with a bang — and a sexy dress.

On Sunday, the singer-songwriter, 35, took the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for her final weekend with Adele of the year in a stunning floor-length black gown by La Ligne.

The custom dress embodies the brand’s classic style and core pattern – stripes – which is composed entirely of black hematite crystals, and sparkles under the bright lights of Vegas.

The shimmering dress was “inspired by the signature lines of La Ligne and the silhouette of Carey’s dress,” according to a statement from the label.

Made of “a unique black silk crepe fabric stretched with four layers of silk,” the dress was breathtaking from the top — an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline — to the bottom, where the skirt featured a “silk georgette goddess” shape.

And the star of the show, the embroidered stripes running the length of the dress — which were conceived in collaboration with designer Jimmy Mizrahi — “were brought to life through individual glass beads delicately stacked on top of each other,” according to La Ligne.

Framed with hematite crystals, each bead on the stunning dress was cut one by one, entirely by hand, so that it flowed “seamlessly” with the curves of the garment.

The brand says the meticulous hand-beading process took more than 300 hours.

Adele, who lit up the stage every weekend of her residency with her eye-catching gowns, paired the custom La Ligne dress with her signature bold glam, sleek waves, black and silver drop earrings, and — to beat the heat — a matching black shiny fan.

Last week, the “Hello” singer gave her usual weekends with Adele a spooky twist in a gothic look that fans compared to Morticia Adams.

For those worried about missing out on the “Someone Like You” singer’s residency — and her residency appearance — don’t fret. In October, the singer announced a final extension of Weekends with Adele until 2024.

She was originally scheduled to wrap up her Las Vegas shows on Sunday, but will now perform an additional 32 dates next year.

The final leg of Adele’s Weekend, which finds the star singing her classics and charming the audience with her trademark banter, will begin in mid-January.

Starting January 19, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer will continue performing at Caesars Palace every Friday and Saturday night through the end of March. Then, after taking off in April, it will resume on May 17 and officially end on June 15.

On Instagram — where the singer also documents her residency look every weekend — Adele posted a post expressing how excited she was to continue her residency and sharing how much the shows affected her.

“This residency and these shows changed my life,” she wrote alongside a collection of clips from the Weekends with Adele shows. “I was desperate to fall in love with performing live again, and I did. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they meant to me, and I did!”

“Being on stage over the past year up close and personal with an audience again after all these years has been a truly extraordinary, restorative experience that I will never forget. All the hilarious, emotional, wild and heartbreaking interactions we had are burned into my mind for life.

“The looks on your faces, seeing you laughing and crying together and singing your hearts out and stocking up on bags of confetti. All the dolls and the friendship bracelets and the flowers and the FaceTime calls and the flags. It’s crazy how much fun a show full of sad songs can be!! I felt so much and learned so much about myself and you. He humanized everything I thought was scary.

“Mostly though, it’s made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m damn good at it and it’s 100% where I belong!” Adele concluded. “So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever! I love you and I’ll see you on the other side soon.”
