Cavs vs. Heat score and updates, Donovan Mitchell out

CLEVELAND — A shorthanded and outmatched Cavaliers team looks to maintain its recent pace in a matchup against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.

Despite being without 60 percent of their starting lineup, the Cavaliers still have the second-best record in the league since Jan. 3 at 25-10, including a win over the Indiana Pacers a few days ago.

Donovan Mitchell remains out after having his nose broken by Tristan Thompson. The Cavaliers have been on some of that hot streak thanks to Jarrett Allen, who could have an argument that he was a top-10 player in the NBA this season.

The Heat also took a hit, with Bam Adebayo expected to be out and Jimmy Butler also questionable.
