New watch for severe thunderstorms in the Lehigh Valley
A large area of eastern Pennsylvania, including the Lehigh Valley and other border areas, will experience a severe thunderstorm on Saturday.
According to the National Meteorological Directorate, the weather condition will be accompanied by severe thunderstorms until 11 pm today, Saturday. Severe weather in the area can bring isolated hailstorms, sporadic storms of up to 65 mph, and frequent bouts of lightning.
The entire Lehigh Valley region including Lehigh and Northampton counties is also at high risk for heavy rainfall, which could cause isolated flash floods.
