NFL Weather Week 10: Expected rain and wind could impact fantasy starting decisions

Last week was a dream for fantasy football owners, at least weather-wise, and the second Sunday in November brings a similar forecast. There is more wind and rain in the weather forecast for Week 10 of the NFL, but it likely won’t have a significant impact on starting or sitting decisions. Luckily, RotoGrinders Meteorologist Kevin Roth He’s back to help us break down all the major weather updates before fantasy football owners install their lineups.
Before we jump into the Week 10 forecast, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and perhaps your fantasy, DFS options, and gambling decisions), please feel free to reach out to RotoGrinders Meteorologist Kevin Roth at Twitter (@Kevin Rothox) Or check the hourly NFL weather forecast on RotoGrinders. NB: If one of the rides isn’t mentioned below, it’s because it doesn’t even have 10 mph winds or a 20 percent chance of rain in the forecast.

Panthers @ Bears. The Windy City will live up to its nickname Thursday, when there will be 15 mph sustained winds and 25 mph gusts. Fantasy owners likely won’t play either player anyway, and don’t really have to worry about Adam Thielen, DJ Moore, or Cole Kmet in the passing game.
49ers@jaguars. There is about a 30 percent chance of rain and winds in the 15-20 mph range. Unless conditions worsen closer to kick-off, we won’t have to worry too much about the starters in either match. Players will likely be okay too, but it may not hurt to look at other options depending on who is available.

Leaders @Seahawks. This is the game most likely to see rain, with rain chances at around 80 percent. We’ll know closer to kickoff how heavy/steady the rain will be, but right now, we wouldn’t recommend putting players like DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jahan Dotson, or Terry McLaurin on the bench. Winds will be low (about 10 mph), so kicks should be okay too, but it doesn’t hurt to look elsewhere to be safe.

Broncos@Bills. There’s a low chance of rain and only 10 mph winds, but a night game in Buffalo in November is always worth watching until kickoff.
