NFL Weather Week 11: Light rain and wind expected could impact fantasy starting decisions

It’s been a mostly sunny and mild November for football fans, and the NFL Week 11 forecast brings more of the same for most games. However, there are a few locations that are likely to be windy and rainy, including Kansas City for the final “Game of the Year” between the Eagles and Chiefs. Luckily, RotoGrinders Meteorologist Kevin Roth She’s back to help us break down all the major weather updates before fantasy football owners initially make their decisions.
Before we get to the Week 11 forecast, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and perhaps your fantasy, DFS options, and gambling decisions), please feel free to reach out to RotoGrinders Meteorologist Kevin Roth at Twitter (@Kevin Rothox) Or check the hourly NFL weather forecast on RotoGrinders. NB: If one of the rides isn’t mentioned below, it’s because it doesn’t even have 10 mph winds or a 20 percent chance of rain in the forecast.

Giants @ Leaders. Wind speeds for this game are expected to reach around 10-15 mph, but there is no reason to bench any of the major leaguers or Giants.
Buccaneers @49ers. San Francisco is no stranger to bad weather, but with winds of around 15 mph expected for this game, there’s no reason to worry about any of the key players for either team.

aircraft@bills. Early forecasts call for 15 mph winds and a 40 percent chance of rain. We’ll know ahead of kickoff if the rain is expected to be consistent and/or heavy, so until we hear more, plan on starting all your planes and major bills, but be careful with your kicks.

vikings@broncos. There’s about a 40 percent chance of rain in Denver during Sunday night’s game, but winds should be relatively moderate (10 mph). We’ll have to keep an eye on these projections throughout the weekend, but for now, you can safely put Josh Dobbs, Russell Wilson, Courtland Sutton, TJ Hockenson, Justin Jefferson, and others in your lineup.
Eagles @ Chiefs. The Game of the Year could see sub-optimal conditions, with winds expected to gust around 15 mph and a 33 percent chance of rain. Unless conditions get worse, you can’t use any of the high-powered weapons in either passing game, but kickers are a bit more dangerous.
All of this is subject to change as we get closer to kick-off. You can follow meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@Kevin Rothox) and check the hourly NFL weather forecast on RotoGrinders. For the best nonfiction weather advice, check out WeatherEdge.
