Oklahoma is seeing slick roads, and more snow is likely later Monday

Intersections will also have some compacted snow and ice. There was more snow in eastern Oklahoma, which meant snow-covered roads. Jonathan says more snow is expected later Monday night. Snow showers are possible in northern Oklahoma, and the OKC metro could see a dusting flash. The next snowfall in Oklahoma is scheduled to begin at dawn on Tuesday. Temperatures will remain very cold on Monday and will remain below freezing on Tuesday. The Oklahoma City metro will reach highs in the 40s on Wednesday and Thursday before falling back below freezing on Friday. Jonathan explains what you can expect from this winter weather. Oklahoma could see another chance of snow Monday night, and road conditions remain smooth after this weekend's snowfall.

KOCO 5 Meteorologist Jonathan Conder says we'll see some slick road conditions out the door Monday morning, mostly on back roads and secondary roads. Intersections will also have some compacted snow and ice.

More snow is falling in eastern Oklahoma, which means roads are covered in snow.

Jonathan says more snow is expected later Monday night. Snow showers are possible in northern Oklahoma, and the OKC metro could see a dusting flash. The next snowfall will be outside of Oklahoma by dawn Tuesday.

Temperatures remain very cold on Monday and remain below zero on Tuesday. Oklahoma City metro temperatures are expected to reach the high 40s on Wednesday and Thursday before dropping back below freezing on Friday.
