Early Thursday morning, rain and snow showers began falling across western and northern parts of New Mexico, expanding as the morning progresses.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, snow will begin to expand over parts of Gallup and Grant and even begin moving into the Albuquerque metro area. By sunrise, it may rain and snow in Albuquerque during the morning commute. Santa Fe will also be affected by snow during the morning commute.
