A tornado warning for Jefferson County has expired.

A confirmed tornado was seen moving out of Dane County, heading toward Jefferson County.

The confirmed tornado occurred near Lake Koshkonong, or near Fort Atkinson, and was moving northeast at 45 mph, the National Weather Service said.

There is a report of a tornado in Northern Rock County, according to the Beloit Police Department.

A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for Waukesha County and Washington County.
