Happy Saturday! We are in a weather alert day for the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms this evening. We will remain partly cloudy this afternoon with a chance of a quick shower or two. As we continue into this evening, these rains may intensify into thunderstorms, some of which will be strong to severe. All types of severe weather are possible on Saturday, including a possible tornado, with the biggest threat being strong winds. Rain and storms will mix with a line from Missouri and Iowa, so the potential for storms remains through the evening and into very early Sunday morning.

Another Weather Alert Day on Sunday as we have a marginal and slight risk of strong to severe thunderstorms. This means we have a 5-29% chance of seeing these powerful storms within 25 miles of anywhere. All types of severe weather are possible Sunday, including a possible tornado. We will have showers in the afternoon, with strong to severe storms possible in the evening, which could last until 1 a.m. Monday morning.

There's a warm weekend in store, and the weather is very windy. Rain showers are expected to continue Monday with 1-2 inches. We'll stay warm through most of next week, with rain possible Wednesday and Thursday. Calm down next Friday.

Have a nice weekend!
