Call of duty modern warfare 3 The campaign has left its early access period and officially launched today (November 10). However, participating players should make sure to download this important Day 1 patch.
shown on Call of duty Blog, the patch introduces fixes and changes to the campaign, multiplayer UI, weapons, maps, and more. Fixed crashes when loading in campaign missions, as well as “UI-related crashes” when using menus. In particular, changes have been made to 13 weapons and two conversion sets, so if you find a favorite weapon during the trial period, you’ll definitely want to check that your favorite weapon still works as you remember it.
The SVA 545 Assault Rifle now has reduced recoil, a slightly increased damage multiplier to the lower torso (0.1 increase), an 8% increase in rate of fire, and a significant 19% increase in bullet speed. The MTZ-556 assault rifle has been given a corresponding 18% increase in bullet speed, as well as an increase in maximum damage range (up to 27 meters from 23 metres). At the same time, the bullet speed of the MCW assault rifle has also been boosted by 18%, but although the minimum damage has been increased by 13%, it now has increased recoil during continuous shooting.
Otherwise, the Striker machine gun has been significantly nerfed, with a 14% nerf in max damage, 18% nerf in semi-medium damage, 7% nerf in mid range damage, and 5% nerf in minimum damage to boot . However, aiming time has been reduced by 4% as well.
Users of the Holger 26 light machine gun will be pleased to know that the weapon now has a slight improvement, with a 13% increase in bullet velocity. It’s a mixed bag for the Pulemyot 762 Light Machine Gun, which has been given a 16% bullet speed increase, but with a maximum damage nerf of 4%. Its conversion kit, the JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit, faces a similar situation, with a 29% increase in bullet speed, but a 14% decrease in rate of fire.
As for the shooting rifles, two of them have been polished (in general). The MTZ Interceptor now has increased spread of fire during sustained fire, aiming time is 20% faster, and bullet speed is increased by 15%. The MCW 6.8 has the same change in gunfire spread, a 6% faster aiming time, and a 12% increase in bullet speed.
Two sniper rifles – the Longbow and the KV Inhibitor – are also facing changes. The former has increased spread of fire while moving and during sustained fire, boosted bullet speed by 13%, and a new semi-automatic crosshair, however, the longbow now has increased flinch if hit by an enemy. As for the KV suppressor, players can expect an 18% increase in flinch when fired by an enemy, an increase in fire spread when moving, and a 5% increase in bullet speed.
Finally, three pistols were changed. In addition to the switch to full auto crosshairs, the WPS Stinger has been nerfed, with maximum damage range halved, a slightly lower damage multiplier at the top of the torso, and a reduction in maximum damage. It also reduced the spread of fire during sustained firing. It’s a similar story for COR-45, which has now had its semi-average damage range halved and its maximum damage range reduced by 33%. As for Renetti, she now has an explosive crosshair, reduced minimum damage, and a slight increase in recoil during sustained fire. Its conversion kit, the JAK Ferocity Carbine Kit, now has a full auto crosshair, slower sight time, and increased firing time.
