(Washington, D.C.) – The House Science, Space, and Technology Committee today announced increased support for H.R. 6093, Reauthorization of the Weather Act, which will continue to strengthen and develop the weather forecasting system in the United States. The bipartisan bill, introduced by Chairman Frank Lucas (R-Okla.) and Ranking Member Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), includes provisions from 12 different standalone bills and touches on the interests of 34 Republicans and Democrats who co-sponsored those bills.
