- Thundershowers are possible in Andaman Islands, Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
- Scattered heavy rains may hit Odisha, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala
- The maximum temperature is expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius or more in the western tip of Rajasthan.

Conditions are becoming favorable for further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from some other parts of the northwest and adjoining Midwest of India during the next two-three days.
Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation is located over south Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas and the trough extends from north coastal Karnataka. Another cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over the east-central Bay of Bengal and the northern Andaman Sea off the coast of Myanmar in the next 24 hours. This will create a low pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal and move northwestward with the possibility of gradually intensifying.
The above systems will result in the following weather conditions across India:
East India: Widespread to widespread rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning and isolated high rain and over Odisha from September 29 to October 2; Ganges in West Bengal on September 30 and Jharkhand on September 30 and October 1.
South India: Light to moderate, widespread to widespread rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, and scattered high rain in and Tamil Nadu on September 28-29; Coastal Karnataka from September 28 to October 2; Kerala-Mahe from September 28 to 30 and interior Karnataka from September 29 to October 2.
West India: Light to moderate and widespread rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning Isolated heavy rain Over Konkan-Goa from September 28 to 30, and Madhya-Maharashtra from September 29 to 30. Isolated very heavy rainfall It may affect Konkan-Goa on September 28 and 29.
