Many games on the East Coast received their fair share of rain this weekend, but the Jets/Bills game on Monday Night Football may not be hit with any inclement weather. The latest weather reports indicate the temperature will be around 70 degrees, a 40% chance of rain, and a 25% chance of thunderstorms.
Clear weather conditions will be perfect for the first Monday Night Football game of the season, but these two teams are familiar with bad weather. The Bills play in one of the coldest environments in the league, while the Jets have played in horrific conditions before.
What can we expect in this game?
The NFL world is nervous about the Rdogers making their regular-season debut in the Big Apple. Rodgers played for only one team throughout his NFL career, the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay sent the longtime veteran QB to pack this offseason to the New York Jets for a package of picks in 2023 and 2024.
Rodgers inherits a Jets roster ready to compete and a coaching staff/organization willing to do whatever it takes to take the next step. How will Rodgers connect with new young teammates like Garrett Wilson and Bryce Hall?
Rodgers has some familiar faces surrounding him in New York, with Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb. Rodgers has reportedly campaigned to bring Dalvin Cook to New York, providing the Jets with a 1-2 punch in their backfield.
How will the Jets offensive line hold up against a ferocious Bills seventh team? Expect Sean McDermott and the Bills coaching staff to put on some pressure packages to force Rodgers to make mistakes.
On the other side of the ball, Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense are aiming to put a disappointing end to the 2022 season behind them. Allen and receiver Stefon Diggs had a playoff brawl last season, which led to a notable conflict between Diggs and the team.

Diggs has publicly stated that he has left those things behind him and that he and the Bills are in good standing. Buffalo drafted TE Dalton Kincaid in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft to add more firepower to an offense that appears to be missing a piece or two.
Keep an eye on young players like James Cook and Gabby Davis. No one doubts the talent of these two, but could they become regular contributors in 2023?
