Weather forecast for Fort Wayne, Northeast Indiana, Northwest Ohio
It feels like summer in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio this weekend! We have seen very warm temperatures, windy conditions, and occasional rounds of rain.
Look for additional periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms Sunday morning. Severe weather chances are low, but an isolated storm could pack gusty winds and hail, especially in areas northwest of Fort Wayne. Temperatures will drop into the low 60s before dawn Sunday, with occasional wind gusts up to 25 mph.
An isolated storm or two could still occur after sunrise on Sunday, but we will be partly cloudy. Sunday will be a warm and windy day. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s! Winds will reach 35 mph at times, so keep that in mind as you wrap up your weekend plans.
On Monday, we will track a cold front through the region. Rain and thunderstorms are expected on this front, and will continue at the current time during the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected at this time, but any of these storms could bring gusty winds, hail, lightning and heavy rain. It will be a windy day again, with highs back in the 70s.
We'll stay warm through the rest of the week with our best chance for showers and thunderstorms on Friday.
